Immacolata Balestrieri studied Comparative Languages and Cultures at the University of Naples L’Orientale. She spent a semester at the Uniwersytet Jagielloński in Krakow. She graduated with a thesis in English Literature on the female space in Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus. She is currently studying Languages and Intercultural Communication in the Euro-Mediterranean Area at the same University. With Kathrin Komp-Leukkunen, Gustav Syrstad and Maria Varlamova, she is author of Using experential knowledge in teaching about life-courses, published by the Faculty of Social Science of the University of Helsinki.
