Michele Costagliola d’Abele currently teaches French Literature at the University of Naples L’Orientale. He holds a PhD in cotutorship between the University of Naples L’Orientale and the Université Paris Ouest la Défense during which he worked on the relationship between Italo Calvino and the Oulipo. He was a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Geneva where he conducted research on the encoding of subjectivity in the literary text. His research interests range from modern and contemporary French literature (Perec, Queneau, Garréta, Pancraz etc.) to literary translation and linguistic-pragmatic analysis of the literary text.
