Naji Al Omleh is a doctoral scholar in Languages, Cultures and Digital Technologies at the Università di Genova, where he is conducting a research project, in the intersection between cognitive sciences and the methodologies of literary criticism, on the aesthetic experience of elliptical narrative structures. He studied Management Engineering at the Università di Napoli Federico II. He approached the humanities by studying, during his thesis, models for complexity theories applied to the field of social and cognitive phenomena. He graduated with an experimental thesis on echo chambers and the phenomena of ideological polarisation that populate virtual social networks. In addition, he is interested in the literary genre of the nouvelle in 20th and 21st century European literature.
