Submission of Proposals

The journal considers articles of significant scientific interest for its peer-reviewed sections:

  • Articles for the thematic section called Tema, announced through specific calls for papers (preferably between 30,000 and 50,000 characters, including spaces).

  • Articles for the miscellaneous section called Varia (between 30,000 and 50,000 characters, including spaces).

Additionally, Aura considers:

  • For the section called Choc, militant pieces engaging with current debates in contemporary cultural criticism (approximately 30,000 characters, footnotes should be avoided).

  • For the Recensioni section, reviews and discussions of recently published scholarly works (around 15,000 characters, footnotes should be avoided).

  • The journal also evaluates thematic proposals from scholars interested in collaborating on a call for papers and editing a special issue.

For militant pieces, reviews, and proposals for the edition of a special issue, authors are encouraged to consult the editorial committee before drafting their text regarding the topic or work to be discussed.
