Alberto Scialò is currently a doctoral scholar in Literary, Linguistic and Comparative Studies at the University of Naples L'Orientale, with a project that aims to historicize the Italian literary field of the last two decades. He studied Modern Literature and then Modern Philology at the University of Naples Federico II, working first on the historical narrative of the New Italian Epic, then on the ideological implications of the narrator-function and its «scopic principle» in the Italian novel of the 90s.
