Marianna Lucia di Lucia is a PhD student in Philology, Literature and Performance Studies at the University of Verona. She studied and graduated in Modern Literature and Modern Philology at the University of Naples Federico II. She contributed for years to the seminar «Scritture in transito tra letteratura e cinema», directed by Silvia Acocella, and she is member of the «Osservatorio sul romanzo contemporaneo», directed by Elisabetta Abignente and Francesco de Cristofaro. Her main research interests concern the codifications of the feminine and maternal in cinema, with a specific attention to the contemporary horror.
