Carmela Viscardi studied Modern Literature at the University of Naples Federico II. She graduated with a thesis in Comparative Literature on the image of the city in European modernism, in particular in Virginia Woolf, Thomas S. Eliot and Fritz Lang. She is currently studying Modern Philology at the same university. She is a member of the «Observatory on the contemporary novel» (Federico II, 2021-ongoing), directed by Elisabetta Abignente and Francesco de Cristofaro. She contributes to various online journals.
