Nicola De Rosa is currently a doctoral scholar in Texts, Traditions and Cultures of the Book. Italian and Romance Studies at the Scuola Superiore Meridionale in Naples. He was postgraduate scholar at the Istituto Italiano per gli Studi Filosofici of Naples. He studied at the Università di Napoli Federico II and at the Conservatorio di Napoli San Pietro a Majella, and spent periods abroad at the Université Paris III and Université Paris VIII. He currently works on a research project on the forms of the geographical imagination in imperial cultural spaces between the 16th and 17th centuries. Previously, he graduated with a thesis on the political theatre in the courts of early modern Europe.
